This past month has been a real busy one for Jesse and I . Here is what has happened to Heathers restoration this August :
Total disassembly of all suspension, media blasted, rust proofed, self etching primer and painted.
New urethane installed all around
Tokico performance springs installed
KYB racing struts installed
Under carriage completely rust proofed and undercoated
New hand fabricated fuel lines (since you can't purchase them anymore Jesse bought tubing and hand bent lines and installed)
Reconditioned perm mounted brake lines and brake cylinder assembly
New Stainless steel braided brake lines
Engine bay clay bar'd & detailed for engine install
Engine Reassembly info:
Balanced short block
Polished rods 20 over flat top pistons
New bushing seal bearing freeze plugs
Brand new high performance cam & hardware
New stainless steel valves w/ brass valve guides
3 angle valve job
Engine to be installed shortly
Interior:
Wheel well, strut towers and trans vinyl installed
Headliner installed with Goodyear closed cell foam underneath oem headliner for additional sound deadening.. Transmission also had Goodyear closed cell foam installed before stock vinyl and jute.
Brand new oem tail lights installed

all parts removed from suspension

ready to be bead/media blasted -- we had over 80 pieces blasted

starting the rebuild and breaking it down


some parts that we had blasted that have been rust proofed, primed and drying for paint coat next etc.
